黄家达的片子太好的不多，太差的也不多。此片是黄家达不错的片子之一，小时候非常喜欢。

从这片中我才知道还有民间传说雍正、甘凤池、吕四娘、白泰官还是同门师兄妹，虽然这片吕四娘只是开头结尾打了一会酱油。这片难得不是简单明了的剧情，还有碟中谍式的反转，唐威饰演的师兄变来变去，都快分不清忠奸善恶了。
