本片的叙事手法着实令人印象深刻，倒叙和正叙编排得当，情绪酝酿恰到好处，剧本非常扎实。奥利维娅·德哈维兰 的表演富有层次感，获奖实至名归~

这个原创剧本的原创性似乎值得考量至少关于这个孩子的部分这也是影片最重要的部分在另一部影片frisco jenny中有完全相似的情节就连那本剪贴簿都如出一辙。。。德哈维兰成为化妆品老板后的强势表演也类似鲁斯.查特顿的强势大姐头表演。。。

德哈维兰的表演真的不错，跨度二十多年，从造型到神态都很有说服力，故事整体有些老套但是讲述得流畅
