迪斯尼出品，根据S.E. 辛顿1979年出版的同名小说改编。拥有和《世外顽童》相同的世界观，故事的发生地都在作者的故乡俄克拉荷马州的塔尔萨市。主要讲特克斯和他的哥哥梅森的兄弟情，以及特克斯对生活的感悟。特克斯得知养的马被哥哥卖了补贴家用，非常伤心。这场面像极了小说《世外顽童》里二哥苏打发现自己的爱马“米老鼠”被人买走，独自哭了一晚上一样。
