和《四月三周两天》《孩童姿势》不同，本片的摄影是《白丝带》式的，隐忍的黑白画面，偶有移动镜头。在扭曲的政治环境下，为了自己的前途而牺牲良知的题材很好，导演搜集到了足够的素材，结尾懂得使用小反转，只可惜情节的编排上差一点点力度。
