拍得很糟，不过勉强还是有一些趣味。主题不再像系列前作是成人对婴儿潮代际交接的恐惧，而是从儿童视角出发，对成年一代“背叛子孙”行为的憎恨。新任教主被处理成了一个格蕾塔·通贝里式的人物，玉米之神终将降临，夹在中间的少年一代必须继续在破坏与保护之间“选边站”，因为地球只有一个，谁也逃不出去。
